WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- UAE students aged 8 – 19 years old.
- Students must form teams of 2 or 3 and be supervised by a coach.
THEME
PowerBots – The Future of Energy.
It focuses on new concepts, ideas, and technologies that help to use clean and renewable energy.
CATEGORIES
Regular Category: where teams will build and program robots that modernize the energy use of a house assist with charging cars in a parking garage and help manage the energy mix on the grid.
Open Category: where teams will develop robots that will allow us to use renewable sources of energy in the most efficient way.
The WRO Future Engineers category: is a self-driving car competition. Students aged 15 to 19 will design a model car, equip it with electromechanical components, and program it so it will be able to autonomously drive on a track and avoid obstacles.
